While all microfinance focused organisations emphasise the role of integrating client voice into all aspects of financial product design, delivery, and measurement, institutional governance is one area that's sometimes not as participatory and inclusive as intended. With that in mind, this panel aims to bring together a range of stakeholders (impact fund, financial service provider, microfinance association or regulator, and end-client voice data provider) to share experiences and lessons with integrating client voice into organisational governance. Panelists will share real examples of inclusive & participatory governance approaches (e.g. end-client advisory bodies, internal & externally conducted listening initiatives, aggregating of end-client suggestions), the impact of such approaches, challenges they've experienced, and opportunities for more effective governance.
