Florian is a development practitioner by training, experience and passion with a focus on financial inclusion and responsible finance topics. He had various long-term positions in Africa, e.g. as general manager of a MFI and as program director at a Central Bank. Eight years at a consulting company also gave him insights into other geographical and thematic areas of FSD. Florian is the gender focal point at GIZ’s department on economic and social development and employment.
