Benjamin Mazzotta, PhD is a Senior Social Science Researcher at BFA Global, an impact innovation firm that combines research, advisory, venture building, and investment expertise to build a more inclusive, equitable, and resilient future for underserved people and the planet. He leads a multi-methods research team devoted to impact management and measurement, supporting practice areas in financial health, livelihoods, G2P payments, and retail payments. Selected recent topics have included digital merchant payments; healthcare campaigns; smallholder agriculture; and metrics for climate adaptation and resilience with the CIFAR Alliance. He lives and works in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
