Patrick Asingizwe was born in Luwero, Uganda, where he completed high school in 2010. Following his studies, he worked as a mechanic, developing valuable technical skills. Due to political circumstances, Patrick was compelled to leave Uganda, arriving in Luxembourg in February 2023, where he has since applied for international protection. While awaiting confirmation of his status, he has taken the initiative to pursue studies in hospitality and tourism in Diekirch. Patrick is focused on supporting his fellow asylum seekers and engaging with people from different cultures, fostering connections within his new community.
